  • EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
     
    THE POSIITON
    The chief administrative officer of St Joseph High School, a Catholic Lasallian high school, will accept the challenge of implementing the goals of the new strategic plan, solidify the financial stability, and increase enrollment.
    Reports directly to the Board of Directors and is responsible for all school management functions and leading the management team, including Principal, Director of Finance, Director of Development, and Director of Admissions.
    Serve as the “face of the school” to all constituent groups.
     
    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS
    Mission:  Responsible for promoting the Lasallian characteristics of the school to the administration, faculty, students, and staff. 
    Strategic Development:  Work with the management team and Board of Directors
    Development and Fundraising: Expertise in soliciting philanthropic gifts and expanding revenue sources who will actively participate in fundraising initiatives and activities.
    Process Improvement:  Monitor and assess operations and identify opportunities to improve financial position and administrative processes.
    Community Relations:  Provide leadership in educating and working with all constituent groups regarding the vision, objectives, and accomplishments of St. Joseph High School with an emphasis on increasing enrollment while maintaining a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.
    Financial Management:  Participate in financial planning and budgeting with the Director of Finance and Board Finance Committee.
    Accreditation:  Ensure that St. Joseph High School maintains full accreditation under the guidelines and requirements of relevant organizations.
     
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Experience and Education:  Master’s degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Catholic or private secondary school. Demonstrated excellent administrative skills in finance, advancement, communications, along with working with a Board of Directors and successful fundraising is desired.

    • Proficiency in technology use for word processing, spreadsheets, presentation materials as well as social media.

    Starting July 1, 2021, this is a full-time, 12-month position with salary and benefits competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

    PHYSICAL SCIENCE TEACHER
    St. Joseph High School is seeking a Physical Science teacher. This full time position entails teaching primarily high school Physical Science. We offer three levels of instruction: remedial, grade level, and honors. Many of our students have special needs and great patience is required, along with the ability to coordinate with Special Education and Academic Support specialists. As a member of the faculty of a  Lasallian school, candidate will be required to serve on committees and assist with co-curricular actvities as required. Comfort with daily classroom prayer and regular worship is necessary. Extensive background checks required. Classroom management skills and ability to differentiate instruction are essential.     SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
    St. Joseph High School is looking to hire reliable, mature and skilled substitute teachers. A bachelor’s degree is required. To be considered for the position an interview with the administrative team will be conducted. Candidates will be required to participate in extensive background checks, child protection training, and fingerprinting. An ability to work with high school students from different backgrounds and with different abilities will need to be demonstrated. Initiation into our Catholic and Lasallian ministry will be provided.
