Student Life

  • Student life consists of all of the experiences and opportunities which are open to or required of our students. From the time a student arrives to school until the time the student leaves campus, the expectation is that he or she participates fully in the classroom experience and all of the educational services provided to support that individual's academic and spiritual growth. In additon, every student is encouraged to join a sport, an organization or a club to help fully realize that student's talents and his or her role in becoming a well-rounded, active citizen.

Many students who apply to college have similar grades, similar GPAs, and/or similar rankings. Being a member of a team or an active member of a club or organization may go a long way to distinguish one's self from others. It can also show initiative, energy and leadership.

First, by talking to your counselor or teachers, find out if a similar group exists. If not, talk to the principal to determine if such a new group can be formed. Be prepared to find a teacher or other approved staff member who will be willing to serve as a coach or moderator.
